Hi Maddy! Thank you for chatting with me!

I'm so happy to be chatting with you. Thank you for setting this up! Do you have any projects you are working on that you can tell us about? I do have a project in the works...I'm actually in the process of recording my sophomore album, which I am planning on releasing sometime in either late 2021 or early 2022; I don't want to give too much away, but I'm loving the process so far with this one! If you could describe yourself as an artist in one word what would it be? I'd say raw. I think that encompasses me pretty well. Who are some of your biggest musical influences? I have had a lot of significant influences that have inspired me over the years while I'm creating...it's hard to only choose a handful of them but, off the top, I'd say FKA Twigs, Halsey, Lana Del Rey, James Blake, and Amy Winehouse. If you could do a duet, with anyone, living or not, who would it be? Post Malone, no question; I am over the moon in love with his artistic expression. How do you keep your music on brand for you? I am very intentional about who I work with--I have a select few people in my circle that I allow to influence me, because I never want to stray away from my original vision; that to me is what I consider the key to staying true to your brand. What does it mean to you, to be authentic? In my opinion, being authentic means striving to the best of your ability to improve your craft and continue laying out new cards. It's really your responsibility as a musician to stay authentic by growing and changing for your listeners, and never letting them get bored.
