Hi Carli! Thank you for speaking with me today!

What have you been working on lately?

Well, I have a new single coming out named 'Fade Away' on August 20th. I'm really excited to put that out into the world! Other than that I've started vlogging for fun and I've been working on some other music as well.

Who or what first got you into music?

I've loved music ever since I can remember. But my music class in elementary school is what really sparked my passion. One day I came home and sang, 'If I Had A Hammer,' by: Peter, Paul and Mary. My mom thought it sounded pretty good and from there I started taking voice lessons and got involved in theater. I've been hooked on music ever since!

What about your music would you say is rebellious or unconventional?

I would say what makes my music rebellious or unconventional is that I'm not chasing after what everybody else is doing. Although I always keep my finger on the pulse of pop culture; I'm not trying to replicate any sort of formula. I'm just making music that comes from my heart, and I think that is an act of rebellion. Has your musical journey had a deliberate direction, or did it gradually evolve in the direction you found? Like any journey, I have a direction I'm going in and goals I'm working towards. But everything has and will continue to gradually evolve as I continue on. I think it's important to have a vision but at the same time I think it's just as important to go with the flow. Because that's when the real magic happens. I'm excited to see what the future has in store for me! What are your top three albums of all time? Oh man... That's such a hard question. Right now I'd have to go with 'Bella Donna', by: Stevie Nicks, 'Ultraviolence', by: Lana Del Rey, and 'What's Going On', by: Marvin Gaye. I could listen to all three of those albums from top to bottom any time, anywhere. Top three artists to listen to on any given day? Honestly I never get tired of listening to Justin Bieber. His voice is so angelic and silky smooth. I also keep The Weeknd in rotation and I've also been really into this indie artist named Faye Webster. She puts a lot of steel guitar in her music and it gives me all the feels! Go check her out if you haven't before. Any upcoming projects you want to talk about? Yes! My next single, 'Fade Away', is out on August 20th so go pre-save that and keep an eye out for its release! Other than that, make sure to stay tuned for more music on the way. If you want to check out my vlogs as well, that's on my Youtube channel under my name. I've been having a blast making them and I think it's a great way for us to connect even more. Please let everyone know where to keep up with you and your music! If you want to stay in touch with me on my journey be sure to follow me on social media and check out my music!
