Hello Red Skies Mourning! Great to speak with you today! What have you been working on lately?

Hey! Working on new songs, new artwork and playing out!

Who inspired you to get into music?

Dream Theater inspired me to play bass which led to me wanting to sing as Chris Cornell, Layne Staley/Jerry Cantrell inspired me. When was the first time you recall thinking that you wanted to pursue music as your career?

When I went to see a local Hardcore/Punk show, I think it was Hatebreeds' really early gig after they released Under The Knife, which my first initial band covered.

What is your favorite song you've ever released and why?

Deep Moonlight. It was my first "dipping my toes in the water" to a brand new sound, while I was used to being in a Hardcore/Punk band and covering rock, I was always into R&B, Rap, Hiphop as well... so approaching from a vocal perspective was interesting. It was really great writing the lyrics for it.

Who are some of the artists currently inspiring you?

Currently I'm listening to Post Malone, The Weeknd, AJR, Grandson, Halsey, Marshmello, and Coldplay though I do get requests for cover songs while I'm playing so I keep expanding the artists I listen to as I'm open to a lot of genres/sub genres of music. Any plans to start performing live as shows pick back up?

I do currently play but unfortunately it's only acoustic, which I blend my originals in with covers. I typically do 3-4 hours with 3x 1 hour sets of music, so the typical 40 songs or so whenever I gig. I would love to actually play a real gig with just my new material and focus on singing. What is your favorite song to perform?

Lost Without You or Deep Moonlight currently, though the newer stuff I'm about to release keep getting stronger as I search for "my sound". What are you hoping to see in the music world as it continues to evolve?

Better opportunities for Indie Artists to get their music heard. I'm always supporting other artists, unfortunately, I don't have the platform at the moment and it's very tough to get heard. Please let everyone know how they can keep up with you and your music!
