Kelvin Frazier, PhD shares how you can have it all!

Talk to us about Kelvin Frazier PhD. How did this come about?

I am a PhD level Chemist and wanted to show the world that you can balance two careers at once as long as you have the passion and effective time management to do so. What makes me Kelvin is my love for music and science so I wanted the same identity in both worlds. My name is Kelvin Frazier, Ph.D. in the science community, so why not make that my professional name in the music industry as well.

What do you love most about your music?

The control of how music can control your emotion. If you need some inspiration to lift you up, then put on a gospel song for example. If you want to have fun and dance, then put on a Pop song or EDM. The power of music is amazing and can get you through rough times. Without music, I can honestly say I wouldn't have been able to get my Ph.D. from the world's #1 ranked school, MIT.

What do you love most about your career?

My music all has an inspirational message to it, and I love the fact I can use music to help someone make through another day.

Anything you wish you can do this upcoming summer?

I am hoping to do a tour. Stay posted by following my social media pages (@KelvinMusicLLC), joinging my emailing list ( or checking out my website ( to get the details.
